We’re coming up on the end of the first quarter, so I wanted to give you an idea of what’s going on in the San Diego market.
With the end of the first quarter fast approaching, I wanted to give you a quick update on our market.
In San Diego, we are seeing very low inventory. In fact, there are only about 4,400 homes for sale.
In the last 15 years, the lowest inventory San Diego County had ever seen was in 2013 with only 4,100 homes for sale. That means we only have 300 more homes on the market right now than at the lowest point in the past 15 years. Low inventory is really driving the market right now. Demand is still very high and interest rates are still low.

If you’re thinking about selling, now is a great time to meet with a Realtor who understands the market and can go over the best strategy to prepare and price your home.
If you’re thinking about buying, it’s even more important to meet with an agent that knows what they’re doing. You need to hire someone who knows exactly how to position your offer in a multiple offer situation while also getting you the best deal possible.
If you have any questions about real estate in general or if you’d like to know about your specific neighborhood, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!
